Help Bridge Education Gaps and Make a Difference

RESN is constantly on the lookout for high-achieving high school graduates who are passionate about enhancing access to education despite geographical barriers and fostering life-changing outcomes for our students. Our tutors are primarily current university students with a background in previous, paid tutoring work. In some circumstances, we also accept individuals with relevant experience in the tutoring space.

As a RESN volunteer tutor, you will support a small group of high-potential students, tutoring one subject and being responsible for

Weekly Session

Holding a small-group tutoring session each week for your subject

Student Q&A

Answering asynchronous student questions for your subject alongside a small team of other subject tutors (depending on subject size)

RESN’s primary aim as an organisation is to connect students with role models and mentors who can support them through their final year(s) of school, providing an incredibly important opportunity to give back to the community by making a direct contribution to rural and regional education.

All tutors are expected to have, or have the capacity to, hold a current WWCC card or equivalent.
